Off-Grid Outdoor Equipment Cleaning
A field-selection workflow for outdoor machinery where stable electricity is unavailable.
DUTY REVIEW
Define the Site Problem First
The cleaning method must match both drainage and combustion-exhaust conditions, not just the available machine power.
- Industry
- Mobile Field Maintenance
- Objects
- Excavators, mining equipment, agricultural machinery and mobile service vehicles
- Primary Soil
- Grease, oil sludge, mud and site dust
REFERENCE WORKFLOW
From Process to Verification
Protect sensitive areas first, then establish a repeatable process and acceptance criteria.
Process
Where drainage is available, use hot water for broad soil removal. Where drainage is restricted, reduce water use and use steam for local contamination.
Equipment Direction
HP-D for no-grid-power sites with drainage available; SI-D for no-grid-power sites with drainage restricted.
Verification
Confirm water access, wastewater plan, safe exhaust discharge, operating area and practical daily cleaning cycle.
Operating Boundary
HP-D and SI-D produce combustion exhaust and must not be selected for indoor exhaust-restricted spaces.
